The day started out at 0700 when my phone was ringing. It was Jamie! Go figure, the one day Jenne was adamant that I sleep in, Jamie , who never gets up early, calls and wakes me up. She was all excited and said she would come down at about 0930 and meet me.
Jamie !
I'm not sure where the time went today. Jamie came down and got me a we rode out to Blue River, which is where she lives. Got the bike unloaded, had some lunch and chilled out for a bit. It's really nice out here. About 9 miles out of Breckenridge on Route 9.
We ran errands for the day, Jamie had some shopping to do, we got groceries for dinner. Jamie showed me around Breckenridge and Frisco. Very nice towns. You quickly understand why people like it up here so much.
Had to take a trip to the local cycle shop to pick up some highway pegs Jamie had ordered. Met Jimmie, the owner. Great guy. I think he'll give Jamie the straight poop on any issues she might have with her Sportster. He installed the pegs (I was planning on doing it) without anyone asking and BAM, we were on our way.
I wanted to test my bike at high altitude so we took a spin up to Loveland Pass. At 11,990 ft, I think it qualifies.

I wonder how long it will be until we can post holograpgic images on the Internet? These two dimensional photos just don't do the mountains justice.
Jamie cooked up a great dinner that night. "Kelly" came out, Jamie's boyfriend of sorts. She wanted very badly for us to meet. I put my best foot forward as we spoke over dinner, but it's hard to do as a dad. I am not rushing to judgement however.
We're turning in early to get ready for the big adventure tomorrow. We're heading up to Rocky Mountain .National Park and Estes Park. Should be a big day. Made reservations in Steamboat Springs for tomorrow night.
Day 3 mileage = 120 miles
